It all starts on Wednesday at 5pm, the music, the art, the food and the thousands and thousands of people who are flowing into our waterfront.
The party is on at the waterfront until 10pm (11pm on Friday & Saturday), but just because your day at SunFest is wrapping up, doesn’t mean your night has to end.
During SunFest Clematis Street is PACKED, with each of the Restaurants, Clubs & Bars serving food, drink and playing music. To make it SUPER simple, I’ve put together a basic itinerary for where you can go for an afterparty on each night of SunFest.
Wednesday (April 29th) Monarchy is the official Kickoff After Party. So as soon as the barges close, make a beeline to the 200 block and let the party continue with DJ Jay R. – Captain Sherman – DJ Stryker & DJ Buza.
Thursday (April 30th)
We’re going all the way to the 500 block to O’Shea’s Pub for The Lahinch Mob. It’s a little out of the SunFest hubbub, but certainly worth the 5 block walk (it’ll also help you burn off some of those captain & cokes you drank on the barges).
Friday (May 1st) – Work is done for the WEEK!!! Nothing but SunFest until Monday. Don’t want to hit it too hard, so ease into the weekend with the live sounds of local Singer-Songwriter Mike Mineo at The Alchemist Gastropub & Bar.
Saturday (May 2nd) – It’s time for a change of scenery. Camelot is keeping it chill with their nautical themed parties with Enchanted Seas party complete with Whimsical Ballet Dancers, Electrifying Violin and Vivacious Belly Dancers .
Sunday (May 3rd)
You’re coming to the home stretch now – with 4 days of SunFest behind you, you’re going to want to wind down a bit on Sunday morning.
Avocado Grill is the place to be on Sunday brunch -From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., enjoy their specialty brunch menu while sipping on bottomless Rosé wine for $15 and half price Rosé champagne. Roxy’s Pub knows how to throw a SunFest after-party. Remember when Papa Roach rocked the parking lot in the back? THAT was a party!
This year they are hosting the Closing Party at Roxy’s Rooftop and have SunFest band The Spazmatics performing. If you’re a local you know what a great party goes down on Sunday nights at Roxy’s Rooftop, & you won’t want to miss this one.
Whatever you do after SunFest shuts down have fun and be safe – and remember, if you’ve had a drink or two… get an Uber to drive you home!
