McMow Art Glass hosts the first Chamber Network for a Cause

McMow Art Glass is pleased to announce that it will be hosting the first ever Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches Network for a Cause event on Thursday, January 19 from 5:30 – 7:30pm. Guests are invited to network amongst beautiful glass art, enjoy food provided by local artisan bakery Aioli, and participate in a one-of-a-kind glass making experience. A portion of proceeds, as well as the glass art piece created by guests on the night, will be donated to local charity organization Quantum House, a supportive home for families whose children are receiving treatment in Palm Beach County for serious medical conditions.

“We’re honored to host the first ever Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches Network for a Cause event,” said McMow President and West Palm Beach City Commissioner Shanon Materio. “It’s a wonderful way to highlight local businesses and bring much needed attention to non-profit organizations in Palm Beach County.

Quantum House is a great charity that provides support to families in need. We’re excited to work with them on this event and donate a one-of-a-kind glass art piece to help raise funds for their cause.”

McMow Art Glass has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches for several years. Most recently, McMow President and West Palm Beach City Commissioner Shanon Materio, received the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches ATHENA Award, which recognizes local leaders.

“The new Network for a Cause series aims to promote and support our growing businesses while advocating for local charities and non-profits,” said Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches Special Events & Sponsorship Coordinator Marissa Kosiec. “McMow Art Glass is the perfect locations for our first event. Chamber members and guests will enjoy a truly unique experience networking amongst locally crafted glass art while supporting Quantum House and the families that benefit from the organization.

Palm Beach County’s – Business After Hours

The Network for a Cause series will replace the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches ‘Business After Hours’ monthly mixer, as the organization moves to increase members’ awareness of local non-profits and encourage them to get involved. Each month, the networking event will be hosted by a different member of the chamber, and highlight a different local charity.

“Quantum House is honored to have been chosen by McMow Art Glass and the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches to be the first non-profit beneficiary of the Network for a Cause program,” said Quantum House Chef Executive Officer Roberta Jurney. “It’s a wonderful way to spread awareness of our efforts in helping families to support children with serious medical conditions.”

Members can purchase tickets in advance for $15, or $20 at the door. Tickets are $30 for future members. For more information about the Network for a Cause event, or to register your attendance, please visit www.business.palmbeaches.org.
