Bashaum Stewart Trio performs jazz from Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney’s time. Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney modeled figures with clay before casting them in bronze. Experience clay modeling by making your own figurative sculpture in the Art Workshop. Lecture: Yixing Ware: An Introduction at Norton Museum of Art

Yixing, located west of Jiangsu Province, China, is famous for its teapots, considered the best vessels for drinking tea. Terese Tse Bartholomew, Curator Emeritus of the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, explores the history, method of production, and potters of Yixing ware.
