Red, White & Bowl at Revolutions in Cityplace

Parades, street theatre, open-air debates, and festivals – these were once part of America’s culture of voting and it’s time to revive them. With the support of the Knight Foundation, Citizen University is partnering with artists, activists, designers, and citizens in cities around the country to launch initiatives to create creative, communal experiences and rituals around local voting. Citizen University has launched initiatives in seven cities where the Knight Foundation invests to generate creative celebrations and joyful public rituals that encourage people to vote.

The voting party is coming to downtown West Palm Beach with “Red, White & Bowl” – where it’s is all FUN & GAMES leading up to Election Day.

The event series will take place at Revolutions in downtown West Palm Beach’s CityPlace at the following dates and times:

  • Friday, September 28 (7-9 PM)
  • Saturday, October 6 (7-9 PM)
  • Saturday, November 3 (4-6 PM)

On your mark, get set, ROLL! Grab a friend and jump in our “Vote-o Booth” to take some pics with our patriotic and election themed props. Bring your lucky ball and head over to “Winner’s Lane” to go head-to-head against a local elected official.

Collect a prize if you can beat one of Palm Beach County’s mayors, commissioners, or city council members in a single frame of bowling. Got a high score? We’ll shower the Top 3 bowlers with prizes and trophies.

Looking for something a little lighter? We’ll be giving out prizes to the highest scoring skee-ballers too. If you’re more of a brainiac than a bowler enter our election-themed “Trivia Bowl” where it takes smarts to win.

RSVP on Facebook to let your friends know you’re coming.
